WinterSky Internal Financial Reports
WinterSky Inc.
Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how WinterSky Inc. ("WinterSky," "we," "us," or "our") handles data in connection with WinterSky Internal Financial Reports (the "Application"), a private internal software tool that connects to the Intuit QuickBooks Online API. This policy is published at finreports.winterskyinc.com/privacy in order to satisfy platform requirements of third-party services to which the Application connects.

The most important fact about the Application is a simple one: it is used by WinterSky Inc. to access WinterSky Inc.'s own accounting records, and nothing else. It has no customers, no subscribers, no public users, and no website visitors whose information it collects.

2. Who We Are

WinterSky Inc. is an architectural metal fabrication and installation company located in Snohomish County, Washington. The Application was developed by WinterSky Inc. for its own use and is operated entirely by WinterSky Inc. personnel.

3. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to data accessed, processed, or stored by the Application. It does not apply to Intuit's own products and services, which are governed by Intuit's privacy policies, nor to any other websites or systems operated by WinterSky Inc.

4. Information the Application Accesses

With the authorization of a WinterSky Inc. company administrator, and by means of credentials issued through the Intuit developer program, the Application reads the following categories of records from WinterSky Inc.'s own QuickBooks Online company file:

(a) sales transactions, including customer invoices and their line, total, and sales tax detail; (b) customer payment records, including payment dates and the invoices to which payments were applied; (c) related reference information, such as customer names, transaction numbers, and billing or shipping addresses, to the extent needed to identify transactions and determine applicable tax jurisdictions.

These records may incidentally contain business contact information of WinterSky Inc.'s customers (for example, a company name and job site address appearing on an invoice). The Application does not collect any information from those customers directly, and does not collect any information from the general public.

5. How the Information Is Used

Data accessed by the Application is used for one purpose: the preparation of WinterSky Inc.'s internal financial and compliance reports, including monthly reports of paid invoices and associated sales tax used in preparing Washington State Department of Revenue excise tax filings. The data is not used for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to WinterSky Inc.'s internal accounting and tax compliance.

6. Disclosure of Information

WinterSky Inc. does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose data accessed by the Application to any third party. The only exceptions are disclosures that WinterSky Inc. may make in the ordinary course of its own affairs and under obligations of confidentiality, such as providing reports to the company's accountants, or disclosures required by law or by a governmental authority, such as the inclusion of aggregate figures in tax filings.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

The Application is not a public-facing website or app. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics services, and does not perform tracking of any kind. The pages at finreports.winterskyinc.com exist for documentation purposes only and likewise do not collect visitor information.

8. Data Storage and Security

Reports and data retrieved by the Application are stored on computer systems owned and controlled by WinterSky Inc. API credentials, tokens, and retrieved data are treated as confidential business records, are protected by access controls, and are available only to authorized WinterSky Inc. personnel. WinterSky Inc. maintains reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a business of its size.

9. Data Retention

Reports generated by the Application form part of WinterSky Inc.'s accounting and tax records and are retained for as long as required by applicable federal and Washington State record-keeping requirements, after which they may be deleted at the company's discretion.

10. Revoking Access

The Application's access to QuickBooks Online may be revoked at any time by a WinterSky Inc. administrator through the connected apps settings of the company's Intuit account. Revocation immediately terminates the Application's ability to retrieve data.

11. Children

The Application is a business accounting tool and is not directed at, used by, or intended for children.

12. Changes to This Policy

WinterSky Inc. may revise this policy from time to time. The current version will be posted at finreports.winterskyinc.com/privacy, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
